Everything you need to know before booking a safe football experience.

How much does a safe football experience cost?
Safe football experience fees are set by each club and paid directly to them — pricing varies by club, format and duration. Our Player Care Package is a separate fee paid to Out of the Box Football. We share both upon enquiry so you have full transparency before committing.
What ages do you work with?
We primarily support players aged 14 to 21. Each partner club has its own eligibility criteria for safe football experiences and training camps — we'll confirm the right fit during enquiry.
How long is a typical safe football experience?
Safe football experiences usually run from 1 to 4 weeks depending on the club and the player's profile. Our Player Care Package is structured to match — choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks of on-the-ground support.
Do players need a visa to come to Portugal or Spain?
EU/UK/Schengen-area passport holders generally don't. For other nationalities, a short-stay visa is usually required. We can guide families on documentation, but visa applications remain the family's responsibility.
What's included in the Player Care Package?
Reception at the club on day one, attendance at selected training sessions, 24/7 emergency contact, an individual scouting report, logistics & accommodation guidance, and a tailored 1-to-4-week support plan.
Where will the player stay?
Accommodation isn't included in the package by default. We provide guidance on safe, well-located options near the club — host families, residences, or hotels — and can coordinate booking on the family's behalf.
What happens if the player isn't selected?
The player still leaves with a structured scouting report — concrete feedback on technical, tactical, physical and mental areas to develop, plus recommendations for next steps. Many players use this to prepare for future safe football experiences.
What languages do you speak?
English, Portuguese and Spanish — fluently. The player and family always have a contact in a language they're comfortable with.
